The online New Zealand Marine Excellence Directory is a copy of the printed version. It contains all the information the printed directory holds, and more. It is intended to be a magazine online. You can browse in many ways:
- You can start from page 1 and work through in consecutive order through to the end.
- You are also able to choose by article on the home page navigation.
- You can choose hot links from home page or article previews
- You can also choose an ad of interest and it will click through to the company's page.
- You may search by company, from the company search field,
- Or search by keyword, in the keyword search field.
The keyword search is to find companies by service. Companies have listed the most important keywords for them. If you are unsure what to search by you can choose "list all" (under the keyword search field on the home page) and see the entire list.
The company search is to find companies by legal name. If you are unsure what to search by you can choose "list all" ( under the company search field on the home page) and see the entire list.
There is also a CD version of the directory, please note a few operating instructions below:
- USE A PC CD OR DVD PLAYER TO LOAD THE CD DIRECTORY
- THE CD SHOULD SELF LOAD. IF AUTO LOAD IS BLOCKED YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO THE CD FOLDER AND DOUBLE CLICK ON "DIRECTORY START UP" APPLICATION. NOTE: ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE MAY PROMPT YOU TO ALLOW CD TO LOAD, THIS IS DUE TO THE PROGRAM BEING A SELF LOADING APPLICATION. YOU WILL NEED TO ALLOW IT TO PROCEED
- ENJOY BROWSING THROUGH THE SITE
- EXIT/CLOSE BROWSER BEFORE EJECTING TO PREVENT CD LOCK
