Formula Cruisers, the Auckland-based builder of high-quality,
semi-custom motor launches, best known for its flagship Icon series, is
forging into new markets.
Formula Cruisers recently appointed its first Australian dealer, in Queensland, and the company is seeking to further increase its representation in this important market. Its most recent Icon 54 is off to Australia in April '08.
In addition, the company is holding discussions for product representation in several other offshore markets and recently opened a New Zealand sales office in Auckland's Westhaven Marina to provide better service to current owners and new customers.
In order to meet expected demand, Formula Cruisers is seeking to increase production across the range, and investment in suitable facilities to enable future expansion.

Formula Cruisers are well known and respected in New Zealand; their
Icon 54 sportfish-cruiser model is recognised as a leader at the luxury
end of the New Zealand market.
The company is planning to introduce new models to complement the Icon 54. These include the Icon 62, and vessels to fit under the 54 and above the 62, as well as non-sportfish style boats.
An alternative version of the Icon 54, with more focus on the cruising-orientated customer, is due shortly. In addition, the company is working hard to maintain a styling edge, with new, contemporary interiors across the board.
Up-to-date production technology is also high on Formula Cruisers' list of priorities: the use of RTM (Resin infusion) construction and vacuum bag technology increases with each boat built.
Formula Cruisers designed a fresh new logo to better reflect their latest plans and new direction.
