Dickson Marine are builders of custom motor and sailing yachts and marine refit specialists with over 30 years experience. We are located on the Nelson marina, 5 minutes from the town centre amid an extensive range of marine industries servicing New Zealand's largest fishing fleet, and right in Tasman Bay among some of the finest cruising grounds in the world. In addition to the haulout facilities provided by our 50t travelift, our secure yard and sealed hardstand, we have indoor workshop facilities for yachts up to 90ft, and larger vessels up to 1500t are serviced at the slipway. Dickson Marine's highly skilled craftsmen are dedicated to excellence and to providing great customer service, whether its building new boats in composites or traditional wood, painting boats, restoring old timber boats, making joinery, resolving electrical problems, fitting a furler, an engine or a teak deck. In short, we cover every aspect of boatbuilding and work closely with other related services such as crew for collection and delivery, upholsterers, and sailmakers to ensure a well-coordinated job and our client's total satisfaction.
